On the 9TH of October 2024 a new edition of the book Braille on Display was released and shared for free with the whole world of braillists. We could say, from Braillists to braillists, as the book is being hosted by The Braillists Foundation – Charitable Incorporated Organisation in United Kingdom.
The book is written by Jackie Brown and brings us a very thorough overview of the braille devices in the world. Hundreds of hours of research, testing and finding the right words to describe the devices for braille input or output, bringing also newest and hottest information about multi-lined displays. Comprehensive and well structured guide in the world of technologies allowing us to use braille in 21. century. thanks to author and Braillists Foundation, this immense contribution to the knowledge about the digital braille devices is free for download and enjoy in different formats.
The book was uncovered on the online launch event created by Braillists Foundation, where the author offered us a humble presentation of this fantastic work and answered a lot of questions of guests.
