This paper synthesizes existing research on the cognitive processes involved in Braille reading, the factors influencing fluency, and the educational strategies and technologies designed to enhance Braille literacy. By reviewing and integrating findings from various studies, this paper aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of how Braille fluency can be optimized for diverse learners. The analysis concludes with recommendations for future research and educational practices to support Braille readers.
