There are people who manage to turn a stroke of fate into something positive—seeing it as a new beginning, setting new goals, and relying on cherished, familiar hobbies. Henrietta Telekiné Balázs from Hungary is just such a person. Braille 200 wishes her all the best and plenty of strength to reach her goal. We believe in you!
My name is Henrietta Telekiné Balázs, I am 49 years old, and I live in Hungary.
In 2024, I was diagnosed with low vision, and at the same time, I also have hearing loss.
Due to my health condition, I have set myself the goal of learning Braille writing in 2025.
LEGO has been a part of my life since childhood, so I thought that this tool would be a perfect aid for my learning. I am aware that Braille learning kits exist, although I have not seen one in person yet.
I have created the Braille alphabet, punctuation marks, and numbers from the LEGO pieces I have available.
