Have you ever heard of Elfchen?
Don’t worry, this isn’t a trick question!
Some people at Braille 200 were just as puzzled at first.
An Elfchen is a small German poetry form made up of exactly eleven words. Light, playful, and without the need to rhyme.
What really matters is the structure: five lines, with the number of words growing from one to four. And then a single final word like the cherry on top.
This week, we’re celebrating the art of Elfchen!
Every day, we’ll share at least one fresh Braille-themed Elfchen with you And you’re more than welcome to jump in and join the fun!

Habt ihr schon mal von Elfchen gehört?
Keine Sorge, das ist keine Fangfrage!
Manche bei Braille 200 waren auch erst einmal ratlos.
Ein Elfchen ist eine kleine, deutsche Gedichtform aus genau elf Wörtern – locker, leicht und ganz ohne ReimZwang.
Viel wichtiger als Reime ist hier die Form: fünf Zeilen, mit wachsender Wortanzahl von eins bis vier und dann ein Schlusswort als Punkt aufs i.
Und diese Woche feiern wir die Elfchen!
Jeden Tag gibt es mindestens ein frisches Braille-Elfchen für euch – und ihr könnt nach Herzenslust mitmischen!
