Game of the Month: Phase 10

As the month comes to an end and a new week begins, we are excited to present our Game of the Month for the third time!
Since this game has been around for quite a few years, many of you may already be familiar with it.

Nevertheless, it deserves a special mention. Firstly because it has gained true fame over the years, and secondly because it is wonderfully easy to adapt into Braille.
It’s also a great choice if you want to try out the card sleeves we introduced in March!

So, let’s raise the curtain for Phase 10!

A game where the goal is to complete a specific objective in each phase.
It is played with a total of 108 cards, including:

8 Jokers
4 “Skip” cards
Two sets of 12 number cards in green, yellow, blue, and red

For example, there are two red 1, two red 2, and so on up to two red 12.

A word of caution! A game can last anywhere between 45 minutes and 1.5 hours.
So, you might want to think twice before playing during a short school or work break… or maybe go for it anyway?

You can find the full game rules here:

In 2017, an expanded version was released, featuring additional action cards. But don’t worry! These are just as easy to label in Braille!

Braille200 wishes you all lots of fun playing!
