Before we dive into today’s post, we have some wonderful news to share with you:
Do you remember Lawrence Schimel and The Village of Stones?
That very book is one of the five nominees for the Swiss Children’s and Youth Book Award 2025!
The winner will be announced on May 31st at a public award ceremony.
Braille 200 is keeping its fingers crossed for Lawrence Schimel!
There’s also another book by Lawrence Schimel that fits in perfectly here.
Lucky Me, another picture book by Lawrence Schimel, was published some time ago and is also closely connected to Braille.
In the story, Bruno tells us about his big brother Matteo.
We don’t want to give too much away just yet, but we’ve put together a small collection of links for you.
Lucky Me has been published in many different languages, in some cases even with Braille labeling.
