Thank God, it’s… what?

Yes, today is not just Friday. Today, we celebrate International Carrot Day, a day dedicated to the often underrated and overlooked root vegetable. The carrot deserves more recognition. Whether in the kitchen, as a symbol of good eyesight, or simply as a crunchy snack.
While this day is celebrated in various countries, including the United States, the UK, and Japan, it’s the perfect opportunity to appreciate the versatility of carrots.
Anyone who sees carrots as just a boring side dish has underestimated their potential. Today is the perfect day to change that.

On a dark brown kitchen countertop, round orange carrot slices are arranged.
In the top left, the orange circles form the word “happy” in Braille.
Below, a bundle of 5 carrots with about 40 cm of carrot tops lies.
The carrots are arranged diagonally from the bottom left to the top right, with the green forming an arc.
Underneath the green arc, round carrot slices again form the word “day” in Braille.
